Don't Really Care About the Mooch

He's an asshole.  So what news is this?   Duh??? Trump punts someone, brings in another shithead.

What I DO care about is that Mitch McConnell is going for it again.  The new thing, block grants for the disable and sick.  And resident phony Lindsey Graham is helping.
The group is trying to write legislation that could get 50 Republican votes, according to multiple administration and Capitol Hill sources. The proposal from Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) would block grant federal health care funding to the states and keep much of Obamacare’s tax regime. White House officials also met with House Freedom Caucus chairman Mark Meadows (R-N.C.) to brainstorm how to make the idea palatable to conservatives, according to two sources familiar with the meeting.

You might ask, what will block grants and caps hurt?  If the states divvy it by county, then more populated counties will get less per person for the population.  If there are caps, those who have more expensive need will usurp all the money, which could result in those who have serious need possibly not having enough funding get their needs met.  Or, it could force those who need fewer supports to go without.   And that's just the start of the avalanche....there's so much more to this, and all I can see is doom.  Because someone somewhere will try and sleeze this past McCain, Murkowski and Collins.

Can we please help Mitch McConnell to get a life?  One that will take him away from persecuting the weak.   Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

He Farted in Their General Direction?

I'm serious....

RALEIGH, N.C. – Somebody “passed gas” on an American Airlines plane, causing passengers to become sick and everyone had to be removed from the jet.
WNCN reported that the plane landed at Raleigh-Durham International Airport on Sunday afternoon when the incident was reported.
People on the flight complained of headaches and nausea and had to be taken off the plane.

Emails! Or, Guess Who's In The Meeting Now?

Actually, this Russia mess with Donald Jr. is more like 99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall.  Maybe after they're done counting, they'll finally do something about these clowns?

Did anyone really ever think that Trumps kids were competent at anything?

In fact, they are not Kids.  Uday - Oops, I mean, Junior - is ThirtyFuckingNine.

It's all just so much bullshit.  More shit, same shit, different day, different week.....

Beee Aware, Senator Toomey.....

While you may think it's a neat thing, to raise bees, if you consistently vote against environmental issues, your bees r gonna die....How many of your neighbors went Greenspace????  All those lovely Amish and other farms, in fracking land out west there....

Ya know, if yer friendly neighborhood farmer/golf course/businesses use Roundup, yer bees are shit outta luck....Hope that bee tech filters it all out....oh, and non-pollinated honey gives ya the shites....

Mr. Toomey began reading about beekeeping last year after a college buddy and established beekeeper piqued his interest. He became “fascinated with these creatures” and their complex social system. When his son Patrick discovered a new beekeeping technology, he decided to go all in, with homegrown honey. He spent the spring landscaping for the arrival of his hive, including building a water source to keep bees out of his pool. Things are now buzzing along.

Prime Day?

I don't see what's so Prime about it, unless you want to buy an Echo, Tap or Dot.  I'll admit, I've been curious, but then also wary.  You know, all the wiretapping theories.  I think I'd be more wary if it was Google.

The prices are great for those three today.  While the Echo is less than half price, actually less than they first offered it for - I know lots of people who have bought that or the Dot and never used them.  And both the Echo and the Dot have to be plugged in all the time.  Not so sure it's worth it.

But as for Prime Day?  Boring snooze sales.  Nothing much really worth buying.

Don't need an "Instant Pot" - I have a pressure cooker, thank you very much.

Evidently this isn't about giving us good deals, though.   It's pretty much a publicity stunt, to accumulate new Prime members.  So what's new?  Not like Prime is such a great deal, anyway - they jack up the prices for those of us who use it - and the TV sucks.

Yay for Netflix...

Mrs. Toomey is Probably Seriously in Need.....

Something that came up a week or so ago.  Just sayin'.....Mitch, whose wife probably could use some as well, still wants to fuck up the ACA.   We're just waiting to hear the next barrage of horrible things they want to do to the disabled and elderly.

On Wednesday, Unbound announced a campaign called “Vibes for Congress” that allows people to send any $15 vibrator along with an educational pamphlet on women’s health to a specific representative. As an Unbound spokesperson told HuffPost, they recommend people target congresspeople who are “in favor of the GOP healthcare bill.” Seventy-five percent of the proceeds from each sale will go to Planned Parenthood.
“The initiative is meant to shed a light on the importance of women’s health in the face of changes that would threaten it, while demonstrating that women will not stay silent in the face of such dire risks,” an Unbound spokesperson said.

Oh, Lord, it's Been a Month?

This is not why I started bloggging again, to forget to post..... Big. Heavy. Sigh.

I think I have difficulty sorting through all the BS.  There has been so much going on, between the ACA and Medicaid to the crap about the media to Twitter harrassment to Mika and Joe and it just goes on and on and on..... A couple of times I've started, and then it flits out of my mind in milliseconds.  Then I realize later that I forgot, and put posting off again.

Not to mention that I feel like anything I write turns into blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah.  And blah blah.

So in any case, I'm still here. Whether that matters in the internet scheme of things, I don't know.  But I'll give it another shot.

In the meantime, you can read scumbag suckage here:  all about how Sunoco has fucked up the water in a local neighborhood, and how Hobby Lobby's FAKE Christians fund ISIS by illegally buying and smuggling Iraqi artifacts.

And enjoy some Twistycat.
